Homeschool Mother's Journal ~ Week 11

The Homeschool Mother's Journal

In my life this week…
hubby and I have been working on getting our water storage together. He built storage racks for our water barrels and then added wood to the top so we can store our camping/emergency supplies on top for easy access. Then we cleaned and filled the barrels.
In our homeschool this week…
I have been getting our lesson plans, assignments, workboxes and stuff in order for us to begin our new year on May 2.
The kids are finishing up their current year's work and even taking a small break from subjects as we finish them up.
Also, we are doing are reviewing a science ebook and will post that by Wednesday.
Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…
Saturday we will go to my mom's house in Gilbert and attend a Spring Festival and celebrate Monkey's 3rd Birthday (I can't believe my baby is 3)!
My favorite thing this week was…
Finally filling up the water barrels (we've had them for 3 1/2 years and this is the first time they have been filled)!
What’s working/not working for us…
I can't think of anything for here so I guess everything is going well! :)
Homeschool questions/thoughts I have…
Thanks for all your thoughts about the TOS crew. I really appreciate everyone's honest opinions. As long as I make it through their interview process we are going to go ahead and give it a try. After reading all your comments I am pretty sure we can do it and still have fun! Thanks again!
