~Took the 25th-26th off for Thanksgiving
~Completed our 68th day

~Continued Discover the Scriptures: Give Thanks
~Has raised her Math Age +.12 years in 6 hours since starting Math Whizz 

~Completed Unit 1 Lesson 2 (4 activities) in Rosetta Stone Latin with an overall score of 93%
~Completed Lesson 13 in TTL4 with 17 WPM and 90% Accuracy
~Wrote 2,778 words to meet and pass her goal of 5,000 words. Her grand total is 6,295 words for NaNoWriMo
~Attended a Father/Daughter Activity with her Daddy K for church. She learned to tie a tie and practiced shaving on a balloon (and about static electricity). He learned to do a ponytail and paint fingernails! He also had to identify her by her feet. They had a great time!
~Finished sewing her apron and a fabric book (photos will be added when I get them from Grandma)!

The one after Fall Break! We took last week (Oct. 11-15) off to spend time with Daddy (he is a teacher in the local High School District) and to catch up on little projects around the house.

~Purchased an eReader with her OWN money that she has been saving for over a year!
~Is working on a Butterfly Notebook to go along with the caterpillars we have that are currently in the chrysalis phase of metamorphosis.
~Went with Grandma Tuesday night to see a special showing of The Sound of Music in Theaters! They had a blast!
~Helped with the preschool activities (made her own leaf bug drawing)

It is Fire Prevention Week!

Do you have any plans to incorporate Fire Prevention into your lesson plans this week? While this week is quite busy for us but we will be taking next week off of "school" since Daddy will have the week off (he is a high school math teacher), so we will do a unit on Fire Prevention and Christopher Columbus next week.
