In my life this week…I have been learning how to adjust to a new schedule and how to cook again!In our homeschool this week…we have been taking it easy as we head into the holidays. We are focusing on Religion, Math, Reading and any reviews we have coming up.
Helpful homeschooling tips or advice to share…if it is not working stop doing it and try something else! If it is working...leave it alone.
Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…on Sunday we will be heading to my mom's for the afternoon and then on Thursday my mom and step-dad, grandmother, sister and brother-in-law will all be at our house for Thanksgiving.
My favorite thing this week was…realizing that I still know how to cook after 6 years of my wonderful hubby cooking!
What’s working/not working for us…so far our new schedule is working for us. It will need to be refined after the holidays but until then it will work.
I’m cooking…real meals again. This week was chicken fajitas, spaghetti, beef & noodle dish, and swiss chicken.
I’m grateful for…sleep and the fact that I am actually getting some now that hubby is home at a normal hour. I can't sleep when he is not here so until this past week I wasn't going to bed until 11pm or later and my kids DON'T sleep in! EVER!
I’m praying for…my sister's house to sell and for the offer we have in on a house to be accepted.
Congratulations on that first tooth! My 6-year-old has his first loose one and is super excited! (I think it's still going to be a while though as it's JUST starting to wiggle. LOL)
