Gratitude Challenge ~ Day 2

For the next 30 days I will be participating in the 2011 Gratitude Challenge
hosted by Brenda at Garden of Learning.

Today (and everyday) I am grateful for my husband.

~We met online in May of 2004. In early July we met in person in Missouri and at the end of July he came to Arizona to meet my parents and to propose. In August he moved to Arizona (and lived with my parents) until we were married in October in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple.

~I am grateful he is a great father to our children, including my daughter (Unicorn) who is from a previous marriage. He treats her like his own!

~I am grateful he is strong in his faith and is always willing to serve.

~I am extremely grateful that he cooks (yep...he is a better cook than me) and helps out around the house (dishes, trash, putting kids to bed, etc.)!

~I am grateful he considers me his equal in our marriage.

~I am grateful we are eternal companions.

  1. As someone posted on my blog, lots of gratitude for husbands today. I love your list, though, and wanted to say so. I especially like that "he considers {you} his equal in marriage." My husband does this. My father never did. It is WONDERFUL!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting Cristy! I'm glad you found a hubby that considers you his equal too! My father didn't either but my step-father does!

  3. What a great testament to your husband.  thankfully I found a great one too.  Life and marriage is so much easier if you work as a team.  Glad we both found that in our partners.  Thanks for linking up to the NOBH
