Gratitude Challenge ~ Day 3

Today I am grateful for my 11 (almost 12) year old daughter, Unicorn (as she is known in the blogging world)!
I am grateful that God has entrusted me with this beautiful daughter of His. I am grateful she and I both survived her pre-term birth (a long story for another time). I am grateful that she and I get to learn about how ADHD and hydrocephalus affect her life TOGETHER. I am grateful that about the time I figured out how to handle her temper tantrums she quit throwing them! I am grateful that she is in NO hurry to grow up. I am grateful that she enjoys playing with her 5 and 3 year old siblings. I am grateful for natural ability to read and comprehend what she reads. I am grateful that she is getting better with her math everyday. I am grateful for ALL her STRENGTHS and WEAKNESSES! I am grateful God trusts me enough to be Unicorn's mother!
