Last week we took Unicorn and Ladybug to the Lowe's Build & Grow Workshop. They each built a "Waving Flag" and had a TON of fun! They loved being able to use a hammer!
Love your children's blog names:) This looks like a great field trip and their creations look so colorful:) Thanks so much for linking up to the Brand New Field trip hop there has been a wonderful response so far!!!
Thanks Anna-Marie! Other than Monkey, they chose their own blog names! They had a great time at the workshop and keep asking Dad to take them to the garage and build stuff!
Looks like fun! And your girls look very proud of their creations!
I always considered myself un-handy with tools, but I've learned a lot being a Cub Scout mom! I think everyone should have some experience with basic building tools. We'll have to check out the Lowe's workshops in our area!
Hi Sparklee, thanks for stopping by! Cub Scouts is definitely an adventure! I agree...basic tool use is a must (as is basic cooking, cleaning and laundry skills)! :)
I've always been interested in those classes at Lowes and Home Depot--your daughter's faces are the encouragement I need to go check out the class schedule.
Thanks for linking up! We have not been to one of those workshops, I should check into them and see if they have them here in HI....
ReplyDeleteThe girls really like it...they made me sign them up for more! Home Depot
