We do get warnings for the Haboobs
but they are often too late for us because we live South of Phoenix and the
warnings are for the Phoenix area. We usually get the warning while we are
in the middle or end of the storm! ;) Thanks again!AdventuresinHomeEducatingnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8834036702858998495.post-8991367714870715692011-07-11T08:20:07.924-07:002011-07-11T08:20:07.924-07:00Hi Michelle,

I hope you have a great time at camp! I've never heard of haboobs or seen them. That video did look scary and wild! I can't imagine and the cars were still driving on the highways! Do you get any warning that one of these is coming like we do here on the NC coast with hurricanes? I hope you are enjoying your summer and hope to "see" you again at NOBH! :)A Slice of Smith Life Smithnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8834036702858998495.post-5140281323465007252011-07-10T07:31:04.590-07:002011-07-10T07:31:04.590-07:00Hi Jessy! Yes, mostly we stay inside and watch out the windows
to make sure our outdoor stuff isn't blowing away! They are pretty amazing
and only happen a couple once or twice a year just before the monsoon. This
was one of the biggest to hit AZ since I have lived here (14 years)! Thanks
again for commenting!AdventuresinHomeEducatingnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8834036702858998495.post-43343854730139037782011-07-10T06:55:31.000-07:002011-07-10T06:55:31.000-07:00Haboob? What do people do when these sand storms come through? Stay inside I would imagine! Enjoy camp! Stopping by from THMJ!Jessy Gaffennoreply@blogger.com
